(15 September 2023 – Surabaya) – PT Pelindo Husada Citra (“PT PHC” or the “Group”), an Indonesian Healthcare Provider which operate 1 PHC Hospital Surabaya, 7 Medical Clinics, more than 60 Occupational Health and Industrial Hygiene (OHIH) Clinics in more than 5 Provinces in Indonesia, has recently noted certain press articles on the Internet (the “Articles”).
Pursuant the Articles, the Management of PT PHC would like to clarify that :
1. The fraudster with the initials “S” who is indicated to have committed fraud by falsifying employment documents is a contract worker who is placed at the OHIH Clinic at Central Java whose main job scope are daily fit to work, preventive and promotive aspects (not carrying out medical procedures and providing drug prescriptions).
2. On this occasion, we would like to clarify that the Fraudster with the initials “S” has never been placed and served general patients at PHC Hospital Surabaya.
3. As a form of responsibility for alleged fraud by the fraudster with initials “S”, Management of PT PHC took the initiative and has collaborated with law enforcement officials (Police, Attorney and Court) to follow up on the alleged fraud. Furthermore, in the legal process that is already underway in court, The Management of PT PHC will be cooperative and always respect the legal process and with a shared spirit so that similar incidents do not happen again in other places and times with the potential to harm the community.
Finally, we would like to convey that, The Management of PT PHC have ensured that all human resources currently working and serving, both at PHC Hospital Surabaya, PHC Medical Clinics and OHIH Clinic have met the competency requirements according to their respective professional fields.
As at the date of this letter, the daily business operations of the PHC Group remain normal and are conducted in usual and ordinary manner.
